How It Works for Lenders

Turn your items into income by renting them to others - safely and simply.

Step-by-step

Create & verify your account — Sign up and verify your identity to start listing items.
List an item — Add photos, set your price and write a clear, accurate description. Choose pickup only, pickup or delivery, or delivery only.
Review rental requests — Receive requests and approve or decline them. If delivery is requested, agree on the fee in chat before you accept — $0 is allowed. Accept is blocked until that fee is set.
Plan the handover — Agree with the renter on pickup or delivery details (when, where, and how). Super Neighbor does not provide the delivery itself.
Handover & confirm — Check the item’s condition together. Photos or video are recommended. The renter then swipes to confirm receipt. This applies to both pickup and delivery.
Stay available during the rental — Remain reachable if the renter has questions about the item.
Return & confirm — Check the item’s condition together. Photos or video are recommended. Then swipe to confirm the return.
Get paid automatically — Your earnings are released approximately 24 hours after the rental end date, once return is confirmed. Withdrawal fee: 0.25% + CAD $0.25 per withdrawal.

Payments are processed securely, and tools are available to report issues if something doesn’t go as planned.

If you cancel a confirmed rental, the renter receives a full refund of the amount paid. Super Neighbor absorbs Stripe processing fees, and you do not receive a payout.
Cancel through the platform as soon as you know the rental cannot be completed.
