Why rent from people nearby

Pay for the days you need

Listings are priced per day, and some also offer multi-day prices. Rent for a weekend project instead of buying something you may use once. See things to rent instead of buy.

Skip the storage

In a condo or a small apartment, a tool you use twice a year takes up space. When you rent, it goes back to its owner when you're done.

Close to home

Listings come from people in your area. You agree on pickup or delivery with the lender, and some lenders offer delivery.

Safety and trust

What the platform does today.

Listings are reviewed first

New listings are reviewed by Super Neighbor before they appear in the marketplace.

Renters verify their identity

Renters verify their identity and phone number before they can send a rental request.

Payments go through the platform

You pay through Super Neighbor once the lender approves your request. Payments are processed by a third-party payment provider.

A temporary security hold

A security hold is placed on the renter's card before handover and is released if the item is returned as agreed. It is an authorization, not a charge. The amount is set on each listing.

Handover and return are confirmed

Renter and lender confirm the handover and the return in the app, and tools are available to report an issue.
