Lender Responsibilities
Rentals
- List only items you own or have all required rights and permissions to rent.
- Describe each item accurately and keep its price, condition, availability and handover options up to date.
- Ensure the item is lawful to rent, safe, clean, functional and properly maintained.
- Disclose known defects, limitations, modifications and safety risks.
- Provide necessary usage, handling and safety instructions.
- Make the item available at the agreed pickup or delivery time and location.
- Provide the item and included accessories shown in the confirmed rental.
- Obtain the renter’s approval before making any substitution.
Handover and return
- If you offer delivery, arrange the details in chat — including the fee ($0 is allowed) and whether delivery applies at the start, return, or both. Super Neighbor does not provide the delivery.
- Propose the delivery fee in chat before accepting. Accept is blocked until that fee is set.
- Inspect the item with the renter at handover and return, whether pickup or delivery.
- Uploading photos or videos through the platform before and after the rental is recommended.
- The renter should swipe to confirm receipt only after the item has been handed over.
- At return, swipe to confirm only after receiving and checking the item.
- Never confirm an exchange or return that has not happened.
Payments
- Rental earnings are credited to your platform balance.
- Available funds can be withdrawn to a payout method. The minimum withdrawal amount is CAD $10.
- Withdrawal fee: 0.25% + CAD $0.25 per withdrawal. This fee is deducted from the amount you request.
- Keep your payout and tax information accurate and up to date.
- Clearly disclose the rental price, included accessories and any delivery fee collected through the platform.
- Do not request hidden or off-platform payments, including delivery fees.
Claims
- Pre-rental photos or videos may be uploaded through the platform up to 24 hours before the rental begins.
- Post-rental photos or videos may be uploaded through the platform within 24 hours after the rental is completed.
- Claims must be submitted within 24 hours after the rental is completed.
- Photos and videos are optional for completing a rental but may be required to support a claim.
- Provide proof of ownership, value, condition and other available information when requested.
- A police report may be required for suspected theft or an item that remains unreturned.
- Do not repair, replace, discard or alter a disputed item until instructed or the claim review is complete.
- Cooperate with reasonable requests during the review process.
- Submitting a claim does not guarantee approval or reimbursement.
Cancellations
- Cancel through the platform as soon as possible if you cannot complete a rental.
- Inform the renter promptly through platform messaging.
- If you cancel a confirmed rental, the renter receives a full refund of the amount paid and you do not receive a payout.
- Repeated or avoidable cancellations may affect your account standing.
Accounts
- Keep your account and listing information accurate and up to date.
- Complete required identity and payout-verification steps.
- Keep your login details secure and do not allow others to use your account.
- Follow the Terms of Service, Posting Policy and other platform rules.
Communication

- Remain reachable for rental coordination and item-related questions.
- Respond to rental requests, messages and reported issues within a reasonable time.
- Repeated delays or lack of response may affect listing visibility, ratings or account standing.
